I have now posted a guide with script and other needed files to make your phone power On and Off faster. This is perfect for those who use a dual-sim solution:

Also, see my complete guide on how to remove camera sound and change sms sounds for the K700:

---from the post---
In this post you will find an archive that contains a package that makes your phone power on and off faster.
This is perfect for those who use a dual-sim solution that requires turning the phone on and off to switch sim card.
The trick is that the script removes all pictures and sound files that are used when turning the phone on and off. Without these files in the phone, turning the phone on and off is very fast.
Instructions: Place all the files (not the folder itself) in the same folder as the SE Tool application is located. That way there is no need to modify the script since the paths to the files are correct. Start SE Tool and make sure you have one credit. Click the "Info" button to be sure the server is online. Click the clear names button. Click the "..." button for "Misc files" and select the file named Fast off mode.txt. Finally you press the "Write files" button and follow the instructions in the application.
Before attempting to use the package you should make sure that the battery is fully charged. It's also recommended that you read the SE Tool manual to get familiar with the basics of the application.
The package is provided "as is" and no warranty for it is given. Use it at your own risk. You should also be aware that modifying your firmware voids your warranty. If there are any regulations in your specific country against modifying your firmware, then you are recommended not to modify your firmware. These files work for me. I make no guarantees. All risks - including legal ones - rests in your hands if you use them. The script is based on information from the SE Tool homepage.

Any way of doing this without a cable.Obviously it would not be possible by Bluetooth but can it be done on the phone itself ?

You will need a cable!
Some people claim that manually turning the startup screen/sound off makes the phone boot faster, but that's not the case at all. Instead there is a black default picture displaying at startup with the SE logo which stays just as long as the normal startup proceedure would take if you wouldn't manually had turned it off. Also, there's no solution to turn off the shutdown proceedure manually.
My solution deletes everything that the phone uses during the boot proceedure so that it gets down to business at once - searching for the network

Turning the phone off is instant - as soon as you press the power button the phone is off!
Powering the phone on and off after using the script is as fast as turning an old Nokia from 1995 on and off - finnished after a blink with an eye
This is a great solution for people with a hidden dual sim adapter behind the battery. Switching between sim cards is fast - real fast

I believe u were unhappy about my previous post?
Is it not the case that modifying firmware will void the warranty?
And is it not fair to mention this to people who may not realise it, damage the phone & end up out of warranty & not entitled to a repair?

Exactly what speed would you call a fast startup ? i think mines pretty fast, it only takes about 5 seconds after i input my PIN until my operator logo appears on the standby screen and im then able to use the phone as i want.
How much faster are we talking ?

To be totally honest with you, I don't understand what you are after! Didn't you read the post that you just replied to??? Here's a quote from what you replied to:
/.../ You should also be aware that modifying your firmware voids your warranty. /.../ These files work for me. I make no guarantees. All risks - including legal ones - rests in your hands if you use them.
In my other guide (Complete guide on how to remove camera sound and change sms sounds for the K700) you also jumped on me for nothing! You questioned why on earth anyone would want that etc. etc. etc. even though half of the K700 owners at esato wants to be able to change their sms sound and delete the camera sound.
