hello all, ive just seen fifth gear on tele and it got me thinking of my trusty old p900. can wayfinder be used as a gps speed camera detector using the data from that free site (sorry ive forgot the website..gpsworld or something) and a bluetooth gps receiver. if it can, is it any good and is it cost effective compared to a standalone one.
sorry if this has been asked but my broadband is down at the mo
thanks kev

hey i was watching that! i think you got the site right but im not100% sure! as for using at as a speed cam detetor im not sure you'd have to check the gpsworld website and see what apps it would work with for example tomtom or wayfinder but i think it be better just to buy a gps system for the car in the long run its more cost effective i think! but upto you

ive had a look on expansys and you can get a bluetooth gps receiver for just over £100 , u just need the software then. stand alone detectors ar about £300, so on price alone its looking promising

U can use an old crappy nokia 2 detect em! Go 2 security settings & closed user group. Select on & input 00000 then select ok & go bck 2 the normal screen, now 00000 will appear. This needs 2 b reset everytime u turn off the phone or loose signal. lf u input 500 in2 the field then the phone will activate security gateb @ the front of shops! Always agood 1 2 wind up ur m8's

The old phantom trick on nokia's thot everybody knew them. But no one has ever claimed success with that.
You must go long back to 3210 and 5110.
