I am confused between k700i and nokia 6230. I only want to use my phone as an phone and not as an mp3 player.

If you're only looking for a new phone regardless of extra features, then any of the two will be quite good for you. If you're only interested on the phone functionality then pick the cheapest one.

If you don't care about the looks and you only need the phone features, the by all means buy the 6600 - I'm sure it's cheaper than K700i and 6230.
