First off all, hi everyone, for this is my first post

... and please excuse the bad english of a french guy lost in indian ocean...
can anyone tell me which of theses apps is the best for filtering calls..
in fact i use magic pro but for example if i set a black list with for action, sending a busy tone, it won't do that but it will transfers the call to my voicebox... and the call is not immediately intercepted (ok perhaps after 1/2 second but "quasi-immediate" action would have been so cool:))...
and does ACM contain any 'profile' feature (setting a silent one etc..) ?
thanx in advance.
Galad
P.S:very good board for p9xx... i'm impressed.

ACM does not have profiles, but it gives you a choice of how to handle a call you want to block, e.g., send a busy tone, send a pre-defined SMS message, etc.
an excellent app and definitely a must have.

ok i have tried advanced call manager : both apps send the blacklisted caller to the voicebox instead of sending a busy tone... perhaps it's a problem with my operator, i'll try to see.
and magic profiles pro have 'profiles'

so i'll keep it i suppose. i have to say that the 'divert call' option in ACM can be very good for somes..(not present in MPP).
well.. have a good night ladies and gentlemen.
see ya.

I found MPP to be excellent. I use the Cell ID feature to turn the phone to silent as soon as I arrive at the hospital.

Hi galad,
If you're on a p910, go to phone , preferences, accept calls and fiddle to your hearts content.
I use it away from home when in hotels for the nighttime hours when I would only want to be disturbed by my family. nothing else gets through. Does away with annoying phone calls at 3 in the morning when you're in a different time zone
