Has anyone had any problems with Vodafone and their picture messaging service.
I recently returned my lovely VK530 as it was faulty and could not send or receive picture messages. I exchanged it for a Sharp GX25 but am finding again that I cannot send or receive picture messages.
I have spoken to numerous staff at the Vodafone online service and all have given different instructions to try and get it to work but it still isn't working.
I get an error message coming up as "unallowed" "Provision not yet allowed". Vodafone tell me it is and to give it 48 hours. 48 hours come and go and still nothing. Today rang again and they took me through entering various settings and then told me to give it another 24 hours.
I have two weeks grace before I can return and get a refund on this phone but just wanted to know if I was missing something here.
It has been extremely frustrating having two phones that just simply won't send or receive picture messaging. Paying a lot of money, you'd expect the damn thing to work!!
It would be interesting to know if anyone else has had a problem with Vodafone's services or have I simply just picked the two worst phones and unbeknown to me, flawed with GPRS problems.
Someone please help before I go bonkers.
