hello again.
i have a question regarding how many bluetooth serial com ports can a billionton bluetooth adapter can connect simultainusly?
the reason im asking this is that in our home almost all of us are using p910's and all are fighting over the bluetooth serial so we can connect to the net using opera and ym and msn via agile messenger. if were all connected then theres no reason for battles. so far i tried configuring 2 - 3 ports but when someones connected the 2 ports wont even initialize.
so help... ^_^;

Most bluetooth adaptors only allow one channel to be open at a time (ie. 1 serial port, or the headset function etc).
You can install many different ports but they cannot all be connected at once - they are to let different apps have a serial port without interfering with each other when they are checking to see if the port exists.
I would imagine this is the case but contact the manufacturer - they would be able to tell you.

You can only use one Bluetooth profile at a time, so, you could connect to the serial port whilst someone else uses the headset profile, but two or more cannot connect to the serial, ftp, object push etc profiles at the same time.
Bluetooth is not as capable as Wi-Fi.
