I need the files StorageSpace.aif, StorageSpace.ctl and storagespace.RSC from the firmware of a P910i in order to experiment on my P800.
I think it’s possible !? Could someone with a P910i send to me those files ?
You can get them with “Stacker” at the Z:RomDrive ( Z: System\Controls\ ). Just copy the files above mentioned to D: Media files\other and then to the computer with PC Suite.

You are probably thinking that’s impossible !?
I’m not trying to flash my P800 to P910i firmware. I only want to change the storage space files in order to be able to use DUO PRO memory sticks.
It’s risky, but if it works ...

And how do you plan to get the files on a "read-only" drive if I might ask? Getting the files is no big deal, getting them on the Z-drive is a real achievement!

I'm curious about the way you plan on getting the files on the drive, care to explain?

The StorageSpace.aif - it's the same file for p800 as for p910i.
Which means I'm working on the same bases.
So, I only need to overwrite StorageSpace.ctl (Setup Information).
