Over the last few Months Me and my mates have set up a promotions company, after a few sucsessfull nights we decided to get serious. At the next event we will be handing out free mix cd’s and on the cd’s will have a web address, so i have made a ruff template and i need your opinions (i know the links dont work)

Can u read the links in that font ?

What of the colour scheme, to bright/dull ?

The logo (mouse trap and orange) any good ?

Basic design changes you would make ?

what would u want added/removed/changed ?

Any thing else ?

Be brutal as i need honest opions.

My only complaint is the ticker. the front and background colours seem to clash ( may be that's the wanted effect) but it seems to add to the flicker on the ticker (if you know what I mean) It may just need the scrolling speed smoothing out.
I was looking at it with Camino at 1440 x 900 colour set to millions on a 17" powerbook.

Nice! I've got a friend that might be able to spruce it up a bit for you, make it look even cooler. Have a look at www.yusuf-osman.com for examples of his work (he made the site, not just the images)

It is if you use the calibration tool

also if you calibrate it to use photoshop cs.

Plus I've just looked at the lower resolutions (down as far as 800 x 600) on the screen and its total sh**e. big blochy lettering , don't forget this isn't the usual 17" screen i.e. square its more rectangular
