Hi

I've just purchased a P910i and I love it. However, I'm really dumb when it comes to technicals and the manual has got me a bit confused.

I'm manually transfering (doh!) my contacts from my Treo600 into the P910i. Once I've done this I was thinking of backing them up onto a Memory Stick - how do I do this.

Secondly, and similarly, I have a Sony NW-MS70D Network Walkman. I have all my favourite tunes stored in it's internal memory and on my PC via the Sony Sonicstage software supplied. How do I get music from my Walkman onto my phone? How can I use my phone as my MP3 player rather than the walkman?

I guess I haven't grasped the Folders & Files bit and the Memory Stick functions very well. Wolud you be kind enought to supply me with an idiots' guide?

Cheers.

There isn't a way to backup your contacts onto a memory stick with the P series phones. You can backup your contacts on the computer though or synchronize them with Outlook.

As for the music, you have to be sure that the files you want to transfer aren't ATRAC3 files, because the P series phones can't play them. If they are MP3 there are plenty of ways to do it. The fastest is to use a memory stick reader and drag the music into the Music folder on the memory stick. You can also just connect the phone to the computer (using bluetooth or the syncstation) double click on the P910 icon on your desktop and browse to the music folder on either the phone or the memory stick. Then drag and drop files into those folders.

Actually u can backup contacts with the following trick:
Go to Contacts > Send this folder > As MMS then Save the MMS as a template.
U'll then need a third party file manager like FileMan or HandyExplorer & go to C:\documents\MMS\Templates & u'll be able to find "All.vcf"
Simply copy that file to the Duo & that it
