> K700i Debranding/Cable query

I've finally decided to join the 21st century and replaced my c35i with a K700i off of e-bay.
I've had the phone unlocked, but I'd also like to debrand the phone.
I've heard I can do this by getting a total multiserver cable.
Not wanting to sound like a total newbie but, is this the same as the data cables on sale on e-bay?

, but in this case (total mulitiserver) only service cable or special usb is proper for unlocking/flashing/debranding.

so if i have a cable which can be used to upload themes etc with FMA then it means that it can definately not be used to unlock k700?
assuming i do not modify it?
can i modify it so it acts as a service cable?

One thing, dss-25 is not cheap usually. You can operate with davinci, seus (sonyericsson www) and synchronize, transfer data to and from your phone.
