> SE new king of limitations?

I am starting to get really pissed of at my S700, i used to love SE for not having an stupid(Nokia) limitations but my S700 has two that my k700 didn't have!
1. I can't send a theme trough MMS, VERY VERY annoying for a passioned themer!!!
2. I can't assign a AMR or WAV file as ringtone, not the end of the world but very stupid!!
Is there something wrong with my phone or has realy my beloved SE become this crappy...?
My s700 is running on R3K004

naturally there are no limitation in the phone preventing send of themes via mms. The limitation either comes from your operator or the size of the theme, most operators dont allow mms above 100kb.
you can assign mp3 for ringtone, no need for amr or wave.

SE can't play wav files, that's for a start. And I thjnk SE should make their firmware oders change projects every while. The T230 can play AMR as ringtones and has changable font sizes which js something the K series needs. And its not like Nokia they leave the features out of the hardware whjle SE 'sproblem is in the software only.

answers to
1) i have a V800 and u can send themes thru MMS.. but if S700 does not hv these feature u can simply send ur themes via the internet thru emails or swap ur memory stick or bluetooth... i know its not wat u want... but tats the way u can go around it.
2) convert it to mp3... tats it.. i know its a hessel.. but u still get wat u want. All ur complaints can be solve... it just need a lil tiny efford.. nothin comes easy... gettin ur S700 isnt easy... u pay for tat thing.. so dont aspect things to come easily or to ur own liking.. unless ur in the royal family than.. u can get ur own customised SE phone..

The S700, K700 etc do but only of low frequency (below 10,500Hz or something similar)
The P-Series play all WAVs.
They're pointless though as mp3s are smaller and as for amr's..........well the word 'rubbish' comes to mind!
You can find everything in mp3 now anyway & if not then converting is easy.

I could start complaining that my Dell computer isnt fast enough. But thats because i didnt get the faster option.
An S700i is a megapixel camera phone, NOT a multimedia player. Sure it takes and plays certain videos and sounds, but by an iPod if you want it to play wavs!

But what i can't get into my head is why on eart have SE started with limitations that they hasn't had before it's nothing else than STUPID!!
And what is worse is that i am almost certain that i could do both things befor uppgrading to the latest firmware

They want you to buy the updated option, why do you think upgraded firmware is available. And also, maybe its quite hard to implement these features after all it may be complicated to add certain things in!

You are a wise man vanquish and i get your point, but sending a theme trough mms has been avaliable on SE since t68 so i don't see the point of removing it now? And the whole theming thing is the major reason for my love to SE, making themes and send to my friends is something i really enjoys, but not anymore
