a few minutes i my PC told me that my C hard drive is full. now im hot sure what to do, i have 2 hard drives C and D the C drive is were all my stuf is saved its abot 30 Gig but my D drive is 140 Gig but empty.

is it as simply as cut and past everything into the D drive?

but obviously dont copy and paste everything

copy and paste files that u have download e.g. zips and exe's

dont cut ANY system files

thanks mate, im just asking because i know that my itunes wont work as i have moved the folder. i will need to do that again,

Yes but don't copy windows or program folders. Any other files or folders but and paste. And its usually best to give your OS some breathing room, and its best to put your stuff in your emptier drive. This message was posted from a T630

Also, putting your swap file in a dedicated partition (with a small size) is a good option. That way it won't be fragmented (unless you start putting other files in there).

oh... there is a boot.ini file in your c:/ dont touch that. you can move all your music files to other partitions. also you can move your "my doc". dont touch "program files" and "windows" unless you know what you are doing.

Heres what to do. Move all ur music video and large photos to D. If player dont find the music etc when they are moved, simply tell the player their new location, this things are in the players options, settings, or preference menu. Dont touch documents and settings, windows, program files, etc that u have not created. If u have CDs, uninstall software that are installed on C and reinstall them in D.
