if top left part of the green chip were to be broken off. will is still work? only the part which surrounds the screw.
and also how do I reconnect the monitor to the chip?

If ur trying to tell that ur phones green circuitary broken, youd better take the phone to service! If the circuits are damaged the motherboard will be replaced.

uh..well its not exactly mah phone.my friend wanted me to change the case for him and I kinda broke the motherboard..welll...a small bit of it near the top left screw hole.

Whether it still works or not depends on where its broken, i.e. if u have damaged any circuit paths.
As for the screen.....did u not take note of how it was attached when u took it apart!

Just see if any circuits r damaged. If not just glue the broken piece in to place, put the screen back in its place. But if the connecters of the screen are detatched, i think u better take it 4 repairs.
