> Defective paint on Mineral Gray T68i?

I have the Ice Cap Blue T68i. Recently, a friend of mine purchased the mineral gray colored one. After only a week, the silver paint on the earpiece portion of his phone seemed to be fading. Moreover, The SonyEricsson name on the earpiece seems to be getting erased. Has anyone encountered this problem? I was thinking of getting one, but now am thinking twice. Appreciate any feedback from other "Mineral Gray" T68i owners. Thanks
