> Problem charging my T630
Bookmark topic
Ive just been given a T630 asa present, it came on Vodafone unlocked but im using it on O2. It does not have an official Sony Ericsson battery.
Im trying to charge the phone but the battery indicator only ever gets half full, however it still shows it as charging when connected to the mains.
Also, there seems to be a loose connection asit charges intermitantley and is spontaneous.
Could the above problem be connected to the battery/charger, or is it a software error?
Can anyone please advise me on how to rectify this issue?
Many thanks
Leo

Im going to investigate getting a genuine SE battery today, and see if tha helps.
Im quite ignorant when it comes to these things, so im presuming that Firmware is the software which runs the phone? If correct, how would i find this out?
Many thanks

On the standby screen, with a combination of joystick directions and the star key(*) key in
RIGHT * LEFT LEFT * LEFT *
Then choose SW information. It'll list the phones firmware starting with the letter R, such as R1A.
Only ever use SE batteries, 3rd party batteries never work well with SE phones.
