Hello,
thinking of upgrading my work mobile from T610 to an S700, however having just got myself a K700 as my own mobile, I'm disappointed with the way SE have changed voicedialling on the K700 and wanted to check with someone who has an S700 to see how it works:
[when voicedialling] my t610 asks for the contact, then beeps again so you tell it which number (eg home, work, mobile).
The K700 just stores one voicetag for that contact.
Can someone with a S700 please confirm which way the voicedial is set up.

With the T610, you can record the contact, and also record the number you wish to dial such as Home or Mobile.
I find the voice dialling much better on the T610. It seems to be able to record and play back your contact names much clearer but with S700 it doesn't seem to give you enough time to record the contact name, even when the name is quite short, like "Kay".
Personally I don't like the way they have change this, the old system worked fine for me and I don't think they have improved upon it.
The K7 and S7 systems are identical.

Have to agree, the way it's done on the T610 is absolute perfection - imagine using that system with a b/t carkit: i've got loads contacts set up and only need to speak the name once, then tell it where to dial.
Why they had to change that is beyond me, can't even use the excuse it's memory saving feature, as it's only 3 additional voice-tags, not 3 for each contact.
Looks like I'll be sticking with the T610 then..
Oh, and I won't even START about b/t implementation changed on the K700i.........(PDA, GPRS etc)

A bit OT, but:
On my T630 I intentionally did not store "home", "office" and "mobile" tags. Does anyone really need them? Saying a name and calling the default number - that's all I need, when using my HBH-600 headset. I want to keep it simple while driving.
