no need for diagrams, take battery cover off gently prize off bit of cover thats around the camera lens, take the four screws out, gentrly but firmly pull phone apart about a cm look for little ribbon cable that attached from the case to the pcb and gently ease it off the pcb then totally remove cover. Pull sides of cover apart slightly and allow pcb and screen to drop out (not far!!) take care coz screen attaches to pcb with flimsy ribbon cable, take great care not to break this

the screen on top, the surface where we use can be detached from teh touchscreen? I took mine to a service centre and they told me it cannot be cleaned. It would cost about $200 to get it replaced. I too have dust under the screen. I watched some videos of people taking apart a p800 and it seems the surface screen is attached to the touchscreen lcd. Someone please confirm? thanks

I guess no one has tried to clean the specs under the screen? One of the videos shows the person taking the touchscreen off the front housing. But the touchscreen itself is connected to the surface where we use our stylus/fingers on. I cant find anywhere where they separate the top surface from the touchscreen, whether this is possible or not, so that i could clean the crap underneath.
