Hi, I'm a noobie to this forum. I've been lurking and have found some pretty good info on this site. Anyways, I just signed up for the Media Works package that Cingular has. Does anyone else have this? And how do I access the internet from my P910i? I tried using it today, but I couldn't access anything. I turned on the GPRS mode (since I turned it off b4) but still nothing. I tried searching on this forum for anything about Cingular Media Net or anything on Cingular in particular but to no avail. Hopefully some of you have new info on this.Thanks.

Oh by the way, I just realized that Cingular sucks ass. Shouldn't have renewed with them. Just realized its now $0.20 for each international text message sent, even if u have a message package. So even if you pay 10 bux for 1000 txt messages, they will still charge you $0.20 for an international text message. That blows. I wonder if I can still back out. I just renewed today.

Thanks for the info! But its funny, I kinda just figured it out on my own. I dunno if its the same settings, but I just went to the sony ericsson site and they sent the settings to my fone. Now I can pretty much surf a lot of my websites, including my car forums. Sweet! This fone is the bomb! Hehehe, forgive my giddyness. Never had a fone this cool.

Anyway, on to more serious topics. What's the best program to handle IM messages? There's an IM+ program that comes with the SE cd but you have to register after 3 days. Oh, and what settings should I set it at? I tried the IM+ but it wouldn't connect. I checked the preferences and there are actually settings that you can play around with. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Oops, never mind, just did a search. Man, feel like such a noob. Found Agilemessenger already. Sorry about the space. Thanks for all the info guys. I will post more questions when the time comes (if I don't find it in the search function )

you are lucky that sending the settings over the air worked for you. Lots of people have been complaining that the configuration settings don't get properly sent to Cingular phones.

That really blows man. We T-mobile users are getting mad for being charged $0.15.
