How do I copy a movie to my P910A?
Do I need to obtain software? If so what
would be the easiest and best software that's available?

Assuming u mean from your PC to the phone, you can do it with the supplied SyncStation & s/w on the CD. The SyncStation is slow though & there are other options:
-IR adapter - equally slow but wireless although range is limited & needs line of sight
-Bluetooth dongle - cheap & much faster data transfer. More range & more convenient but less reliable.
-Memory Stick reader - even cheaper and is the fastest & easiest method. I recommend gettin one the u just put ur Duo in it & move files as though its just another location on the PC

you might need to convert the movie in mp4 format if the movie is not in that format already. You'll have to use a converter for that. A search in google will get you many results.
