I don't know if this topic has been up earlier but I can't find it in the search.
How often don't you get irritated when people still refer Sony Ericsson as 'Ericsson' when talking mobile phones (I don't mean the old phones Ericsson made).
Many mobile-websites have the Ericsson and sometimes Sony sections and puts all the Sony Ericsson in the 'Ericsson'.
Mostly annoying is people that keep them selves updated in the mobile business that still says Ericsson - kinda 'Have you seen the new Ericsson S700?'

I dont get irritated. Why? Boba would be proud. But, Nah, i'm not the least bit irritated. Ppl tell me, that "must be a good phone because it is made by ericsson." Some other say, "come on, how bad can a sony product get?"

Well, yea. It feels like the old ericsson phones. My father got a lx588 or something earlier. No sim, wap, email. Only calling and sms reciving. Eats up a full battery within a day! But we have 2 respect grandpa eric!

Might also be due to the fact that Ericsson were known for their phones before Sony was known at all

To me it's a BIG difference between the SE phones and Ericsson phones.
I find the SE much better than Ericsson since my view of the Ericsson phones is a dull and grey work-phone, in compare to Nokia at the same time.
Now SE phones are made to be allround phones who fits anybody.
Now don't think that I believe that SE should be where they should be without Ericsson or Sony

i do get irritated..when any1 says ericsson p910? nah..it makes a lot of difference remember without sony , ericsson wouldnt be at this place today..and u cannot say sony without ericsson because sony deals into multi products manufacturing so.. everywhere u cannot expect profits....
sony did failed to have good cell phones and dats why...they had a collaboration wid ericsson...
