Hi
Any suggestions on how do I synchronise my (brand new) P910i with Microsoft Office 2002?
When I try to synch, it asks me for exclusive access to my email addresses - so I say yes, and give it 10 minutes. I then get Synchronisation in progress window running that says "Synchronisation Completed" for all five types of thing - apart from the second last progress bar (the Jotter??) which says initialising... and gets no further. Finally I get two small windows coming up seaying "Synch Warning" and then "Synchronisation Error / Synchronisation Failed".
Interestingly I just tried un-ticking the Jotter and I no longer get any error message.
But why does this error happen?
Should I update my phone's software?
Or my PCSuite ==> About

The version that came with the brand new P910i
on the CD is Version 3.2.0 of "PC Suite".
My CDA number on the phone is "CDA162005/3"
My organiser version is "R3A04" whereas is should according
to the SE website be version "R4A10"
I have downloaded the latest Java
version J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Upate2

Have you tried setting the outlook folder to be sync'd with manually?
Right click on the sync suite system tray icon, select 'sync station settings' and click the 'Settings' button in the jotter section.
Un-tick the 'use default folder' checkbox then click 'Set folder' and select the 'notes' folder in the list of available outlook folders.
If that doesn't work, and bearing in mind your other post regarding your online update problems, I think it might be worth trying your phone, docking station and sync software on another PC if you can just to make sure that you don't have hardware problems with your phone or docking station / cable.

okay selecting notes manually seems to have resolved the problem and it now synchs fine!
