> S700i multiple entries per contact

Hello.
Being a rookie with my S700i, could somebody please tell me if it's possible (and how) to do the following:
1) Assign more than one of a type of phone per contact, say, 2 mobile numbers for some contact.
I seem to be limited to one of each type.
2) Enter more than one note for a contact. Or at least, put a linefeed between them.
3) Isn't the 510 contact limit a sort of false advertizing. It actually seems to be 510 stored phone numbers. If every contact has 3 numbers, it would allow only 170 contacts.

SE must assume people only have 5 numbers or less.
2. No, but you could always try adding the new line symbol (looks the arrow on the enter / return key of your pc keyboard) instead.
3. Im not sure, i dont even know 500 people enough to have their phone numbers, and very few of them have more than 2 phone numbers. However, when i check my memory status, it says how many contacts i have out of 510, and some of them have more than one number. Therefore i assume if you do add up to 5 numbers per contact it does not take up more than one contact space up in memory.
Did that make sense ? it didnt to me !

K700 and S700 "only" have room for 510 numbers or entries. Not 510 contacts with 5 entries each. So yes, if each contact has 2 numbers that would mean "only" room for 255 contacts.
Ive never found that to be a big problem though, as very few people actually know 510 people so well they have to call them regularly on several different numbers. But I guess it can be a problem to some people.
In K750/W800 this has been upped to 500 contacts each with up to 4 number/entries for a total of 2000 entries.

Those 87 contacts i have, i'd say at least half of them have a HOME and MOBILE number saved to the contact.
So how come it still says the true contact number of 87, instead of it being higher ?

It says you have 87 contacts, because you have 87 contacts.
It doenst report the entries, but the contacts. You will however discover that when you reach the limit of 510 entries, you will not be able to add anymore even if reported contactcount is only maybe 255.

It is a somewhat restrictive setup for sure for anybody using the phone for business and pleasure.
To clarify one point:
The limit is 5 phones per contact but I cannot define, say, 2 mobile numbers only. One of them has to be defined as a different type. No tricks around it.
I'm afraid I'm probably right on the above and I should probably keep my Nokia 7610 around.
