I finally got around to unbranding and unlocking my Orange K700i last night. I had some SE Tool credits that I bought a while ago, so I thought I'd give it a go. With the help of gbrooks3 (thanks a lot!), the whole process was so simple.
Not only have I unbranded and unlocked, but also changed the CDA number, so I should be able to update using the Sony Ericsson Update Service in future, and it will think my phone is generic trade!
Anyone with a branded K700i... I seriously recommend you unbrand. It's fantastic!
