Hi. I bought my Sony S700i resently and it was branded with vodaphone. I have used Total multiserver to remove the branding and upgraded it with the latest firmware . I hoped i could use Se update service when it was unbranded , but somehow it sayes that they are not any service for this operator at this time.
I have tried once more too unbrand the phone but stille the same answer from Se update service.
Can anybody tell me whats wrong?

Come on boys, whats the deal with the SE online service at the moment. I got the same response from the server for an unlocked orange uk phone,( see my tale of woe in the software section " K700i firmware Orange . VOdafone).
HELP??????

Anyways, sorry.
The SE update service is down at the minute, someone else has had the same problem. This could be your problem.

Yup, i had this problem.
I called the Sony Ericsson Support number, they've confirmed that there's a problem and have notified their website team and they'll get back to me when the SE Update Service is back-up and running.
I'll let you know when they've contacted me.

Just my phone works properly i dont care if it's sony or ericcson.
I have tried Se service several weeks ago and got the same answer.
Maybe Se service don't work at all .
