I installed this iconpack: from here: http://pdanet.ch/P900/p900_Themes04.htm

now when I start up my P910i I turn it on, insert my pin and then there comes the black screen with the sonyericsson logo and it just stops there, .

When I open the flip There appears in a part of a second the applications list, and then the blank sceen appears again. I cant press anything because it is so quick.

What can I do????

I NEED MY P910i TO BE WORKING RIGHT NOW!!!!

:(:(:(

Please?????????????

I have seen lots of people here who have installed the icon pack that you mention. There havent been any easy solutions that I know about but try the following (it includes loosing all your data):
1. Turn the phone on.
2. At the pin entry part do the following :
Jog dial up, *, down, down, *, down, *
3: it should bring up the service menu.
4. select service functions.
5. select yes
5. your internal drive is now formatted and it should have removed the fateful program.

The icon pack requires that you install a language pack as well in order for it to work

I have also read extensive discussion that the icon packs are not compatible with the P910. This is why I haven't tried installing one.

I hope you backed up your phone before the installation. I would say use the recovery option of the Online Update and then restore from your most recent backup.

EDIT: wow, several responses all at once.

I donīt have any backups as I just got my new 200gb hard disk yesterday

Yes, I think these icon packs wonīt work on a P910i because it has some animated icons with flip closed...

But the interal memory is formatted now and I can use my P910i

Shame that my phonebook is gone and I donīt have any backup.... But I am going to update my phone now and make a backup.

Thanks to you all

Well, I got a new one because the old one stopped working... It was a 40gb Western digital crap.... 4years old....

So we can say it hasnīt been my lucky days. First I lost the files of my PC and now my phonebook of my P910i...

But I got a 200gb Segate now.... Itīs soooo great... So silent and fast....

good to hear that your P910 is no longer a paperweight. We now know exactly what to do if someone installs an iconpack on their phone.
