HI all estato users! I have a problem with my SE K500i. when i tried to update my phone on SE website this is the error message i GOT,,
>> Your device is not permitted to use this service
Your operator does not approve the use of this service with this device.

ok. what do you mean branded? whats the different with unbranded is dat the reason why i cant use SE Update Service. Heres my software version:

Do you have a service centre near you? They can do an upgrade for free if your phone is within warranty. R2aa is old alright.

yup, but i think my phone is not in warranty coz i just buy my phone in shops here in the philippines and that shop is just like a tiangge.. anyway is der any way i can do to upgrade my firmware using SE UPDATE SERVICE.. yes im r2aa003

If you have a shop near by, go there and ask them to do it. I'm afraid you cant do it online as the update service is yet to support your operators version. But this will version will be available at the service centre.
