My mom has a z200 and having some probmelms with it...
1. After a really short call, the battery is gone by half. But on the SE webpage they say it should be up to 4.00 hours.
2. My mom turned off the phone, and when she turned the phone on again the menu was all purple and showed dots like this:
(I am at my school now, so I canīt take a picture or make a better one- made with paint ). Then she turned the phone off, then turned the phone on again and it freezed when I opened the main menu. After that I took the battery out of the phone and turned it on again. I did a master reset and when it was over it isnīt possible to talk in the phone....
Any help or ideas what I should do with it?? the phone and battery is younger than one year old. Should I maby update the firmware? what is the latest firmwae for the Z200 and how can I see the current??

This obviously sounds to me like a software problem. Its time you reflashed your phone. Got any service centres close by?

yup, there is a service center near me. So I should get a firmware update?? I think itīs really wired to get these dots at the screen, and the battery is so bad. Can this be the firmware?

Well if you haven't damaged it physically it very well could be. Try taking it to them to get flashed, if nothing happens check if it is still in warranty and go to a repair service.

It most likely is. Can be some hardware fault too, but firmwareupdate is the easiest thing to do without opening the phone up. So i would suggest a firmware reflash first. Is it under warranty?

I own 2 Z200 - bought one for my girlfriend and one for me. The battery life is appalling - if you do some serious talking the battery WILL NOT last more than a day. Even with minimal use, it does not last longer that 2-2.5 days tops. However, some friends of mine claim theirs last up to 4 days, but you can never be too sure - some turn it off at night (which I hate), or barely use it.

I think it is still under varrenty. It has been taken good care of the phone, it has never been dropped to the ground....

The z200 I have has battery life for about 30minutes in talk when it is fully charged
