Hi
I want to buy a phone which is only available in Asia, i then want to use this phone in different countries in europe but i wont be using roaming, i'd like to use the phone as pay and go and pick up a provider from the country where ill be living (i have 6 months in each country).
My question is probably noobish but i cant find this information. Basically is this possible ? Do i need to consider anything special, the phone is a 3G. The phone providers of said countries don't support the phone so how can i use it ?

Obvioulsy to connect in each country ill have to buy a sim card pack there, but how can i be sure that the sim from a provider (who dont support the phone) will work ? On the websites theres just a buy sim option and no mention of compatibility . . .

i'm almost sure it's not possible to do a sim-swap with a 3g phone. you will have to either buy a cheap gsm phone and pay for a new sim in each country or roam with your 3g provider.
