I have a USB Data Cable by Mobile Action
http://global.mobileaction.com/en/
Can I use it to Sync with the Sony Erricsson Sync Sosftware
as the Date cable that comes with the P910i does not work

No wont work the supplied synch station has special hardware which loads up some software to aid the transferring of data. To use third party cables for synching you need additonal software typically produced by the manufacturer of said cable.

Who told you that?
I have used the dss sync stations and bluetooth, serial and USB data cables to sync my P910i with my PC. All you have to do is select the correct method of communication on the comm manager at the bottom of the screen.

He aint using DSS he using his own cable as long as you use a non standard cable even the T32 data cable you cannot use standard software to synch.
