i recently had to do a master reset on my phone cos it was playing up. i.e click on messages in fl open mode and i would get a white screen , also various kernel -exec errors.
my p910i is orange branded with cda162006/5 r3a01.
i have upgraded the firmware before to r3a04 but this time se website says that i have the latest firmware. is there any solution to this ?

Take it to a service center they should be able to sort it- or call orange and see what they say.
I've have done the same- however I just do a backup on the phone a restore it whenever i need to.

i m in the highlands of scotland there s no service centre near me. when you say you do a back up every time , was your backup done straight after the service centre upgraded you to the latest firmware and did they do a complete firmware flash . i read a few posts from people that had this done by the service centre.the thing is my phone is on payasyougo no contract with orange.got it second hand. why doesnt the update service work then, does this happen with most users on orange .
