I'm very impatient and I don't like waiting for more then
a minute for web pages to download. I feel like I'm using
a modem instead of a DSL line. Can this phone handle
high speed internet service? My provider in the USA is Cingular.

When used as a gprs modem- the P900, can only provide speeds similar to a 56k dial up service. This message was posted from a T230

If there's another modem instead of GPRS, does the P910A
have the ability to use it?

if you go through BT your restricted to around a realistic speed of 100k, then its down to the processor handling the data.

Depends whether You're using the sync station or not. I believe the Sync Station has a maximum speed of 117 kbits/second because it's a serial connection.

Of course, I'm probably wrong, but 117 Kbits isn't all that fast when standard ASDL is 512 Kb.

you must remember that the actual P-series motherboard isn't designed to handle more than about 100K of data/second. This is made clear by the speed of msd access, which isn't all that fast.
