Yes, its that time of year again, and Im stuck in the think of it. Its exam time. Students retreat to their rooms and study for those tests that will effect the rest of their lives.

MIne start on the 3rd of may, and end towards the end of may.

However, despite needing an absurdly high grade (IB grade of 36 with a 6 in HL Maths and Physics), I cannot motivate myself to study. I don't know why, but whenever I think about how important these exams are, I just get depressed, and not motivated.

Does anyone have any great motivational techniques or tips?

Nick

Get rid of ur phone, computer and other gagdets for some time. ;-) Sit down and study. Just think about the pleasure and free time afterwards. :-) Well, mathematics r giving me problems and the time has come for to get rid of this gagdets. This message was posted from a Nokia

My mother used to say: spend a little time studying. After that you'll have a life time to spend for your own pleasure. She meant the last year of highschool. Now i'm almost done with the college. Today i had a quite hard exam. I had to prepare cuz i wanted to pass. Besides people get clever by learning something new. I may sound cheap, but it is just me. Your hard month will pass. That's the beauty of life. Good luck. This message was posted from a T68i

@nick. It's a matter of attitude. In other words, It's a problem of will power. It's obvious you don't like what you have t study, but you have to find something by your own that will guide you towards that attitude which makes it easier focusing on studying. You can do it. I have done it many times and it worked. It's not easy but It's possible. Finally you'll be so satisfyed dog a well done thing! So all you have to do is 'to want'. That's the only way you can do it by yourself. This message was posted from a T68i
