Pricewise, do a serious check with your network supplier. You might find your GPRS bill going through the celing.

Also, GPRS probably doesn't have the bandwidth for decent voice quality. You need about 90KBps up- and downstream for decent VOIP.

i think u need much less than that people in Slovenia reported good voice quality on gprs and even better on edge speeds ...

Using gprs I can hear the other person very well but the other person can't here me good enough to make an phonecall.
Using 3G everything works fine!
Using edge? Don't know yet, my phone supports edge but here in sweden telia is soo slow upgrading the gsm-net
