Some people here say that these two firmware is released already. But what I want to know is not their existance! I want to know what is new!! Up to now, still no one can CLEARLY state out the difference between these two versions and the older. There has been quite a long time after the first post saying that R2f is out there. Haven't they got enough time for testing and showing us the new feature? Or is it really just a joke?

R3 has 4+1 gprs, i-mode, tty profile, bluetooth handsfree profile& eotd (and of course other enhancements/fixes...) ;-)

lucke: the handsfree profile i could figure out from the bluetooth sig page where there are 2 different entries for the t68i (one for r3a and one for previous software) ... but whats tty profile & eotd?

Tty is so that you can attach equipment pop hearing impaired. Eotd (enhanced observed time difference) is mobile positioning (911 in this case)
