Good evening,
I have a SE p900, which i use on SFR Network (French operator)
I have unlimited wap gprs access.
It is perfectly working on my phone, I can browse nearly any webpage.
However, I heard it was possible to use this GPRS connection to surf on the internet from my laptop. I installed the SE soft to do this, which went perfectly right.
When I launch my IE browser, it launches the connection on the phone. But that's all. Nothing more. Until the IE browser says "unreachable server".
Any idea folks ?

How are you connecting your P900, to your laptop? Cable? Bluetooth?

I'm sorry, but you do not seem to have read carefully my original post. I wrote that the connection was actually established, but that the problem came from the browser ! The phone is connecting, is communicating with the computer, but does not seem to accept orders from the laptop ...

Does any other program works with that connection? If only IE isn't working it's IE problem, but if nothing else is working, it's the connection.

Hi i got an P910i, and with the (i think newest) S.E. Phone-software i can run a "Dail up Networking Wizard"...
I found it under "Start" then "programs" and then "SonyEricsson".
Hope this helped for you.
p.s. with me it said to first disable all com ports to the phone so it can see the phone as a modem or sumtin...
