I should supposedly at long last be recieving a replacement for my k700. Would it be advisable for me to use the battery from my old phone in the new handset? I remember someone talking about how the battery mature and hold more charge the more they are used?

i would use the old battery first and when thats dies use the new one. after a couple of charges the battery reaches its maximum life so the new one would be the same after a few charges.

Yes. Stick to the old battery. But make sure your new battery won't get damaged or become less effective after being remaining in an uncharged state. If such a thing is possible, that is! This message was posted from a T230

Keep the new battery as a backup one. It makes a better sense using old batt.

Keep the new one, not only because it'll last longer, but it should be covered by another 1 year warranty too.
