are you referring to firmware or software? if you are talking about the version that makes your phone tick, then it is called firmware. are you telling us that you indeed have R3A023 because it is displayed in your phone's service info and you would like to find out if this is the latest firmware version, or you would like to find out what your firmware version is?

a) if you indeed have R3A023, and you would like to find out if this is the latest firmware, then maybe it is. most of us here have R2E006. you may want to check with your service point to confirm.
b) if you want to find out how to determine the firmware version of the phone, you can check the FAQ.

ok sorry. i did the right*left*leftleft** thing to check my phone and it said it was r3a023 so i guess that's the phone's firmware? i don't really know but whateve this board has so many negative people on it

i guess you have the most recent firmware then. maybe you would like to share what's is new? unless you already got your phone with that version of the firmware.

jeez dude cut the guy some slack... all he asked was what software version he had, yes software version !! that's what it's called in the faq for your info, and btw being a software engineer I can tell you that "software version" applies to a "firmware" since the ROM is flashed with software thus it is a software version. can't people be a little friendlier here ?!

just for the record my firmware on my t68i (bought in the US in April I think) is firmware/softwareVersion R2A014

my t68i bought last april is R2A014
the upgraded sw of the old T68m is R2B025 updated to R2E006
