> Getting PC Suite to Work with XP

I got my P910a last week and have not been able to get the phone to sync with the desktop computer, that uses XP. I can get it to work on my laptop that has Windows 2000. I do have a firewall on the XP computer, but I disabled it with no luck. I really want to use the desktop for synchronizing the phone. Any ideas would greatly be appreciated.

You have not mentioned if you have any of the service packs for XP. The specs for the Sync software state that at least SP1 is required. Also, I don't know if you used the software that come on the CD with the phone, but as general advice, always download the latest Sync software from

Sorry for not including that info. I have SP1 and SP2 installed. Yes, I did install the PC Suite from the cd. I will go to the SE site and see if there is a newer version. Thanks for the heads up.
After looking at the SE site, it only have version 3.1 available. I have 3.2.0.2 on my disc.

Didn't know that the newer phones came with a newer software version. Still, I'd download the one off the website and give it a go because there are plenty of us here running 3.1 properly on XP.
