hey guys i didnt notice this before but even though i have my earphones connected, it still appears that there's no accesory connected to the phone in the connectivity menu. Is this a bug or what?

Possibly a problem with the connector on the bottom of the phone. Is it an intermittent fault or does it happen all the time ?

Either way you should have it checked out at a service center.

no, i dont think its the connector's fault because the earphone works! i noticed this a few days ago but i dont really remember if it had this problem when i bought it... does yours list the handsfree when u connect it to the phone?

It's not an accessory like that.
The accessory menu is for things like MPF-10 flash, CAR-100 & probably BT Headsets.

The normal headset does nothing to need an option in the menu.
What were u expecting to find there?

Yes, MIKLSP is correct. The accessory menu is for BT devices, CAR-100, Flash, etc. but not for wired headsets like the one that comes in the box.
