> Z1010 on three (UK)

Hey guys,
I own a t610 and I thought its about time to upgrade.
Ever since Sony Ericsson put z1010 on their site, I've wanted to upgrade to it.
Now I can buy it, on ebay, they are usually orange/vodafone branded, but I can get them unlock to use on three. (I have a three Pay Monthly sim).
But I have heard the phone is not compatible with 3 UK network, and people have had problems with it?
(Obv a few forum posts here and there, as it is STILL not launched on the three network)
I wanted to know if anyone on this board has this phone on three and could tell me if I will be wasting my time or not.

3 in Australia sold them. You could get a 3 branded/compatible one from there perhaps.

Thats a great idea! Just checked ebay australia and prices arent too bad neither.

Well, you could always get an unlocked one here, and then reflash it with the latest sw. You could do it via an se service centre or via seus online. I was able to do that once i paid orange to unlock mine. The orange ones havent got that much branding on them anyway. Just the orange z1010 sticker inside and the orange world wap push button and the orange world menu. After reflashing, you'll have a pure se generic version.
Then its just a case of getting the 3 uk settings, perhaps from the se support pages

Thats cool, yeah I was planning on that, I just wanna know people's experience with using Z1010 on three network.
How has your experience been on Orange 3g? can you access the 3g content fine?

My experience with Orange 3g since launch last december has been really good. Its definately faster than 2.5g. With Orange you get easier access to the web via google search and its good not to have any restrictions. You also get killer apps like music player, fireplayer, traffic tv, visual communicator, star wars avatar video messages and even more apps for symbian phones obviously. Orange are also the only network to offer video mail.
Ive tried both 3 and vodafone 3g and in my opinion Orange is the best.
