Hello. i got my 910, i sold my 900. and i know there arent TOO many of us that constantly upgrade our phones like this, but you would think that S.E. would want to make this as easy as possible. and it hasnt been. my main questions, is do i uninstall my 900 software before installing the cds that came with the 910, or will the 910 software update itself?

How hard can uninstalling the P900 software be? Dont do anything with the syncstation, just the software. I'm not sure, but i think the P900 software will work on the p910 too. This message was posted from a K500

Isnt the 900 software the same as the 910 ? It's just an upgrade... unless you already upgraded to the latest software from the sony ericsson website.

just install the 910 over the 900. i did and it works on both phones ( it knows which is connected ). the depressing bit is that you cannot use a 900 backup to 'restore' the 910!! i hoped to be able to do this to save transferring everything and installing things again.unfortunately not. DOH..
