A few weeks back I posted that I was having problems in that everytime an incoming call was being received on my P900 that, instead of ringing and answering the call, the phone switched itself off and then rebooted itself. Every other facility of the phone (including text messaging) was unaffected.
At the time I had no idea what was going on so spoke to both Orange (my network) and Sony themselves. Neither had came across this problem before and both recommended that the handset be replaced or repaired - replaced by the new P910 (costing me £ 199) or by repair (costing at least £ 85).
Not wishing to pay out such an expense I gave a lot of thought as to how to solve problem and all of a sudden it clicked that the problem had only been occuring ever since I downloaded a KT Tunstall song as a ring tone. Out of curiosity I deleted it and replaced it with another song and lo and behond the phone worked fine.
I still have no idea as to why that one song causes the problem but just thought I would share this in case anyone else is having the same problem.

Buggy Ringtone I guess.

Yeah, it might be a problem with the ringtone.. If it's a wav file, it might be something with the compression. If it's a midi file, it might be something with the way the instruments were compiled or something. Anyway, glad to hear that you don't have the problem anymore.
