I have had my t630 for about 4 months, bought second hand not turning on for £20 off a mate, up and working within days.

Anyway, over the months i have been modifying it this way and that. Firstly I managed to get a black t630 cover and change the inner housing part so that it was all white (got rid of that grey that i was unsure of). Nextly I upgraded the firmware to the latest myself using my terminator dongle. Then I found a file which claimed to change sms tones, so i installed that , hey presto new sms tones such as nokia and pacman!!! =D

The final mod which i completed (for now lets say) is my favourite, using an LED from an iPod, i opened up my phone and wired the LED up so that it would flash when the vibrator worked. I Then stuck the LED under the volume buttons.

THE RESULT IS PERFECT. one LED is enough to light both the + and - buttons up (i plan to put another LED under the cam button but will leave that for another rainy day).

The LED mod took the longest, about 2 hours in all, the wires i used are so small. Ive posted some pic of the exterior, none of the interior since when i open my phone now im at risk of destroying all my work.

All i no is that this will stop me from buying that k700 ive been dreaming of. For a while anyway.

Pics Arnt seeming to be working atm.

yeh, the uploading didnt work, but theres a link to a shot of the LED in action.

i think it will be easier to add a secod LED under the cam button, the only trouble is there a bugger to solder (so small)

plus getting the wires to avoid each other took a lot of effort, i thought i had done it only to find they prevented the speaker working.

took about half an hour to put together in all, however i can just add LEDs in paralle with the initial one hopefully.

thanks guys

www.gorden.de/free

download the t610_sms_gdfs file v2 is better than v1 although much the same.

u need to use seTool original to flash the file using a terminator dongle.

avoiding the wires touching was the hardest, i used thick clear sellotape. Took the phone apart again, but its a bitch to manouver as the wires are tight, i have second LED ready to install but connecting the wires togther seems a little tricky , but i really wanna get it full working and be more happy.

just uploaded a smal video too.

Right, just finsihed installing the second LED, boy are things good now.

It took all the time in the world, for a while my keypad froze, i had to cut a bit off my housing.

but i did it!!!

i now have 2 LEDs connected in parallel with vibrator 1 lighting up the + and - buttons another for the cam button.

results are PERFECT.

uploaded more pics and another vid
