The thing is that you need to have excalcly the same firmware as the one who made the iconpack to let it work properly.
But if there were made some icon changing app, this would be no problem.... I know how it needed to be but I am not so good at programming in C. I am learning C, and If I get help from I good developer, this would be possible

there was somebody else that was toying around with changing the icons for a while. He seemed to have everything working and coded, and then he just stopped posting. I am hoping a solution comes along for this.
By the way, are we talking about icons for system apps or icons for 3rd party apps as well? Because I would like to change the lousy icons that came with SMan and UnrealPlayer to something better looking.

The idea of a icon making app that i had in mind was just a .Aif editor and maker the app be like how to make and change themes in magic themes!But it would be a .Aif editor so it could change the 3rd party and the inbuilt apps. Of cource the app would make backups of all orginal icon (.Aif) files.

I have a Gnome iconset for the P800, but it only works on the P800! I tried it on my P910i and had to format it because it would not display anything else than the bootlogo after the installation of said iconset. But I guess I was not the only one who had to find that out the hard way .

Yes, if there is some developer who knows a bit more than I, then please contact me. I once talked to magic themes developers and they told me that it would take within a month to make such app. But they didnt want to do it:( dont you know anything in programming knight4led?
