> More strange behaviour from a P910i

The backlight keeps turning itself off for no apparent reason. In control panel - display it clearly goes from being on "auto" to "off" and I am not changing anything! I wouldnt mind but its damn hard to see the screen with no backlight! Even in daytime!
Has anyone else seen or heard of this?!

Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!! Please dont say those words to me!! Every single firmware update I have ever done has resulted in hours of ar*ing about afterwards trying to revive the unit. Its a nightmare! I have vowed never to do another online update unless I absolutely have to.
If its the only way to fix the light problem then so be it though.

Take it to your local service centre who will look at it for you. There is a deffinate fault with your phone so they have to fix it if it is still under warrenty.

Maybe a software is causing it! Try unistalling the latest software from your phone. I have heard of it happening before due to some software conflicts!

I think the same, that its conflicting software. I just dont know which ones, I cant even remember the order in which I put stuff on there.
Oh well. It only does it once a week or so....
