Try activating your bluetooth device and see if by rightclicking on your deisred filename, a "send to" a recipient will appear in the pull down menu. This is the method that is used in sending files to digital cameras and infrared adapters.

I have exactly the same problem : impossible to exchange files between T68i and PC using BT-500. I sent a mail to ACER today, I'm expecting their feedback within 2 days.

I have downloaded Ericsson image editor.

Following procedure works
set phone in BT menu to discoverable
make connection via BT application on PC on serial port 1

Start image editor
Edit image
Download.

Works totally fine !

It works indeed for uploading images to the Phone, but I can't find any solution for downloading the pictures I have taken with the Communicam to my PC.

You can't request the pictures from the phone, you have to send them to your pc.

Select the desired picture and select "send" -> bluetooth. You computer (the bluetooth tray icon) should report an incoming transfer.
Or the file would be saved automatically, because you've set your software to allow this. The files should be located at c:\documents and settings/yourprofile/bluetooth?/ftp or something like that.

I've not tested this for me, but it should work

I found this post on www.clubsonyericsson.com....(unofficial site).
I tried... and it works !!!
------------------------

Most of these Bluetooth Adapters use the WIDCOMM drivers/software.

So to enable sending images FROM your phone TO your pc over Bluetooth, firstly MAKE SURE you have the very latest software for your adapter. Then open regedit.exe and do the following:

Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareWidcommBTConfigServices
Here there is a list of profiles supported by your PC
Find the one for 'Infomation Exchange'
Do this by looking in each folder.
For me, there were folders 0001 to 0007, and the one I was after was 0004. (You can tell because there is a value called 'Name', with data 'Information Exchange')
In this key, change the DWORD string 'AcceptOther' to hex value 1 - it is 0 by default.
Close regedit

ENJOY !

Thanks to Andy (clichehuman) on the semuser.org message boards for this.

When I go to that folder I can't find the 'AcceptOther', is it possible to create a new file in that folder? Or how can I fix it.

If I want to send from my t68i he tells me, he can't connect to the pc..
