> K300 on sale in phones4U
Bookmark topic
This may well have already been discussed but I saw the K300 in Phones4U today for £79.99 on PAYG.
Not a bad deal for a low end camera phone.
I'm surprised there haven't been any for sale on Esato, I usually expect to see phones here before on the highstreet.

That price was on Orange. It was also available on O2 but for 5 or 10 pounds more.

I remember when I bought my PAYG T300 from Orange for £139.99 in 2003! And that was on special offer! The prices are definitely coming down for the specs you get.
The J290 is only £39.99 in the Orange shop.

£79.99 is not bad for a MP3 playing camera phone

I think it is pretty obvious that 2005 has marked a change in SE's price policy and market focus. After 2004 with focus on mid to high end devices that were priced a bit higher than the competition, 2005 has signalled a shift towards mass market competitively priced phones. SE will build its marketshare after a profitable 2004.
80 pounds for the K300 is a very good price and from what it looks like the K750 is going to be launched at a shockingly cheap price as well (probably less than 300).
Bye bye to the days you had to fork out 500 pounds to get yourself the latest SE phone (s700 november 2004)
