> Preinstalled Quickoffice v1.5 & P910

I've bought the new quickoffice v3.0 & installed it. Now whenever I try to open a file, it loads the quickword, quicksheet or quickpoint v1.5 preinstalled in the P910. How can I uninstall the old one? The program doesn't exist in the uninstall list & if I try to install the old version again from the CD, it tells me that it is preinstalled in the phone & it aborts the installation. Any help?

Sorry that this doesn't help, but when I got my new p910, i put my p900's memory card into it. the mmc had quicksheet installed on it, for my p900, when I uninstalled it I accidentally uninstalled the p910's version. now I can't use either. SE and Quickoffice both refused to help.

Try installing it back from the application CD or simply do a software update, u'll have it back on ur phone! But the problem is that it cannot be uninstalled & that is so annoying!

I believe you will need to reboot your phone after QuickOffice 3.0 installation, which the installation process did not "remind" you to do so. Try rebooting your P910i and all should work fine afterwhich and QuickOffice 3.0 should take precedence over the default 1.x.

Are you sure the Quickoffice on the latest firware on P910 is not the same you are installing ???
It seems to me the version in the About is misleading !
The latest firware even installed QuickPoint, but still says 1.5.27 !
I whish someone can confirm this...
