Has anyone else had this problem? I origionally bought my K700i on contract and was determined to use the years contract then move to PAYG. However i've been alured by the k750 and when septemeber comes around i'll be wanting to get my hands on another 'free' one. Looking at it it make sence for £240 a year you get a k700 3600 free off peak mins and 6000 free texts and also wap and gprs allowences. so it seems a good deal. Is it? Considering the phone was about £240 sim free when it came out? Contracts, good deal or a trap?

it can be a good way of getting a new handset to get it on a contract then after six months you can then change your tarriff to the lowest price and pay it off early

yeah you have to watch it but with so many half price tarriffs you could get a phone and never use the sim card at all use your exsisting one

@701: who knows... maybe all that will change with Vodafone officially taking over Connex.

I'm not sure I want the Voda crap on my phone, though, given what the Brits are saying on the forum...

Anyway, I've always been a fan of buying phones sim and contract free. Even if that means I have to pay more.
