Found the link thru my RSS feed and SE is going to make this roadwarrior's photos (captured only with the cameraphone) into a photobook sometime soon.

I'd say an impressive gallery and showcasing SE's prowess.

there's a similar thread on that here. But anyway, regarding those photos by robert clark, i still kinda have reservations whether they are really taken by an s700. There's no way you could actually check the image's 'properties'. I may be wrong or too suspicious but hey, just take a look at them. just unbelievable quality. Can anyone out there assuage my suspicion, please?

He probably used PS or any graphics program to add his watermark, but the low-light image from a bar shows noisy camera artifacts.

The man makes really good pictures and they look very good on screen BUT that's only on screen. The pictures are really small. Only a few really fill up your screen.
Also have a closer look at the distortion around the edges which is typical for the s710.
I only wonder if SE would pay a photographer of this level to travel around the US to make some pictures with a 'fun' camera. I hope the man is also doing other photowork or whatever.
